Our aluminum storm panel systems feature a corrugated inter-locking design which not only adds strength when in use, but also stack together for compact storage.
Our polypropylene and Lexan storm panels are a double wllled honeycomb design for light weight and exceptional durability. It's opaque design (or clear Lexan) also allows filtered light into the room when deployed.
Both designs have passed the Florida Building Code requirements for use in hurricane situations.
The aluminum panels are inserted into an aluminum rail permanently mounted above each opening. The bottom of the panel is secured using wingnuts.
The polypropylene and Lexan panels attach to your home via pre-installed hardware (tapcons or panel mates) outside each opening. The panels are attached using wingnuts or stainless steel bolts. |
