Our aluminum storm panel systems feature an inter-locking corrugated aluminum design which not only adds strength when in use, but also allows the panels to stack compactly in storage.
Our polypropylene and lexan storm panels are a double-wall honeycomb design for light weight and exceptional durability. It's opaque design (or clear lexan) also allows filtered light into the room when deployed.
Both designs have passed the State of Florida building code requirements for use in Hurricane situations.
The aluminum panels are inserted into an aluminum rail permanently mounted above each opening. The bottom of the panel is secured using wingnuts.
The polypropylene and lexan panels attach to your home via pre-installed hardware (tapcons / panel mates) outside each opening. The panels are attached using wingnuts or stainless steel bolts. |
