The Kama'aina Series roll shutter systems are fabricated from aircraft grade extruded aluminum and has been tested and approved for hurricane use by the State of Florida and Miami-Dade County.

All components are fabricated to your specific sizes and assembled by hand to ensure a truly custom fit.

All components of the roll shutter system are constructed of aluminum or stainless steel to eliminate any rust from forming due to our tropical climate.

Additional features such as a manual override (in case of power failure), wind and rain sensors (activates shutter at preset wind / moisture settings) and several types of key pad switches (prevents unauthorized operation) can be included in your roll shutter systems.

The strength of the double-walled extruded aluminum slats allows for spans of up to 14 feet wide.

The "dead air" space inside the double walled aluminum slat provides additional insulation from the heat of our Pacific sun.  

Due to the weight of these units a motorized operator is suggested
